Can the Tofu litter be flushed?

Our Green Tea, Corn, and Applewood litters are pure tofu-based, designed to break
down quickly in water, and have been tested under controlled conditions.

This litter is formulated for flushability in small amounts (up to 200g per flush) when used as directed. Always check your local council rules before flushing. Incorrect use may cause plumbing blockages. Where flushing is not permitted, please dispose of used litter responsibly via composting (where suitable) or general waste.

How much litter should I use the first time?

For the first use, fill your litter box with about 6–10 cm depth of litter. This usually takes 1.5 to 2 bags, depending on the box size. After that, just top up as you scoop to keep the right depth and avoid sticking to the bottom.

Why does the litter stick to the bottom?

If the litter layer is too thin, sticking can occur. We recommend spreading the litter to a depth of 6–10 cm. Worn or scratched plastic litter boxes can also increase the chance of sticking.

Can i use a automatic litter box?

Not recommended.

Why does it smell after only two days?

Odor is affected by your cat’s diet — a high protein diet can produce stronger smells. Warmer weather can also make odours spread faster.

We suggest scooping waste daily to keep the litter box fresh.

What is the difference between Green Tea and Corn Tofu litter?

Green Tea tofu litter contains green tea powder and food-grade colouring, giving it a different scent compared to Corn Tofu litter.

Why does Applewood litter track more easily?

Applewood mix is not recommended for long-haired cats. Applewood granules are
lighter and more porous, so they may stick to paws more easily.

Why are there small wood fragments in the litter?

These are natural applewood particles. We balance particle sizes carefully to absorb odours effectively while ensuring clumps stay firm.

Why does the tofu litter colour vary between batches?

Our raw materials are natural and not fully standardised, so slight colour differences between batches are normal.

Why do some bags lose vacuum or look uneven?

Because of the automatic packaging process, some sealed bags may release a little air or appear uneven. The bags are also slightly breathable, so air may increase over time. Transport may also affect the seal.

This does not affect product quality. Vacuum packaging is mainly used to
reduce shipping volume and cost.
